In the years of 1990’s Robert S Kaplan and David P. Norton emphasized the use of “balanced scorecard” for top down management system. The main advantage of this approach is that it tries to establish the link organization's mission and strategy into a limited operational task. The scorecard is a way to clarify and translate the company vision and strategy, planning, setting the objective, communicating and linking the strategic objectives and finally enhancing strategic feedback and learning (Norreklit, H. (2000)). Balance score card approach of organizationThe balance scorecard is a basic framework of four major sectarian issues related to customer, financial, internal business, innovation and learning. In the financial perspective, looks of option of how company appears to shareholders so that, it can add to the success of the organization. It includes the action taken in regards to improving the bottom line, profitability and analysis of the financial consequences of already taken action. The customer perspective is how organization presents them in the front of the customer and how they fulfill the expectation of the customer through their product. It focuses on some main categories related to time, quality, performance, services and cost. Internal business perspective tries to find out the ways so that organization excels in meeting the customer and shareholder expectation. It focuses mainly on internal business process, technologies, core competencies.Casual chain approachIn this approach, it is seen that how the achievement of one objective can lead to the achievement of the other. For example, in case of Microsoft the improvement of internal business perspective clearly helpful in customer perspective. The proper training and growth helps in research and training and it helps in innovation in products and customization of the products.
